This sculpture reimagines the classical bust as a vessel of memory rather than a fragment of the past. The exposed interior reveals an impossible architecture of staircases, chambers, and figures, transforming the form into a space that can be entered both physically and psychologically. What appears to be an excavation is equally an act of construction, where absence becomes as meaningful as material.

Drawing on the tradition of Roman ruins and the concept of the memory palace, the work suggests that history is not fixed but continually reconstructed through experience. It invites the viewer to move between the monumental and the intimate, discovering that memory, identity, and architecture are inseparable structures, each shaped by time and imagination.
